About Me…

MeHello,
Thanks for visiting my personal weblog. Actually I started blogging after seeing the Old New Thing, an MSDN blog by Raymond Chen.

My name is Sarath. I’m a Software Professional working India, more specifically Kerala. Currently I’m working for Network Systems Technologies Pvt Ltd (NeST) at Trivandrum.

Basically I’m from Thrissur, the Cultural Capital of God’s own country.

Computer was a device which attracted me when I was studying at 7th standard. Unfortunately I could not buy one at that time (still)… That may be one the reason I’ve selected IT as my career. Actually when I was studying I never expected that I’d be a Software Engineer but god’s grace now I’m…

You know I believe in God… But it’s not a blind belief.

Actually I’m believing in the unseen power which drives all of us. Finally the believe in god results an empowered mind. God is goodness which shows the right path to live and show others, how to live a good life. This is my concept of God.
I used to say my worries to Lord Ayyapa… used to visit Sabarimala every year…

Ok. now about my proffesion. I’d like to do something in C++. Sometimes I could not replace it with other ones. I could not leave my favorite C++. I’d like to do interactive GUI applications and also have some interests in GUI programming… I used to collect breadth wise knowledge in other areas of topics in computer. Giving some concentration on C++ and Visual C++.

My hobbies are playing cricket, playing computer games. I’d like to play NFS…the game of Speed…Commandos series of game attracted me to world of strategic games… when I sit alone I’d like to hear some music… depends on the mood I’d like to hear some classical, ghazals, Symphoney. Techno, RAP…I’d like to hear all type of music.. But still I can’t accommodate heavy metal or death metal… I have some reading habits. I’d like to read some technical books, personality and softskills development and some magazines…

I’d like to see movies… I love some ever time hits Dilwale Dulhani Le Jayenge (hindi). Thoovana Thumbikal (Malayalam)…comedy films etc… but more than films I’d like to see music videos.

What else…I’m just stopping here to continue…
